God's moving TimeOut Ministries in a New Direction...

Friends of TimeOut for Women!

We can definitely sense the changing of the seasons here in Michigan as Fall is feeling more like winter each day. In the same way, TimeOut for Women! is also sensing that we are coming into a new season!

After 12 years as a conference ministry, God continues to expand the speaking, writing, music, and traveling ministry of our founder, Julie Baker, who recently returned from a two week music missions tour in China.

As it is becoming increasingly apparent that God is opening many doors for Julie's personal ministry to expand to a more national and international focus, we also know that conference events in many cases are diminishing in attendance.

Therefore, after much prayer and counsel from our spiritual advisors and board members, TimeOut for Women! is closing the conference portion of its ministry. This includes canceling the 2008 conference that was planned for September 15 of 2008.

Because we never processed any of the presale ticket orders, no credit card orders have been charged to accounts and no checks were processed. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this causes.

While there will no longer be a one-day TimeOut conference that features numerous speakers who inspire women to seek a deeper walk with God, we would suggest church groups and organizations wishing to encourage and inspire their people, to bring Julie to their groups as a top notch motivational speaker and outstanding solo musician. As a best-selling author on leadership, prayer, and holiness as well as a published songwriter, she brings a storehouse of knowledge with incredible takeaway value for any group.

Our TimeOut Ministries office will still be in operation for bookings at 1-866-864-9663 and Pamela Essenburg will still administrate and facilitate all of the TimeOut Ministries non profit outreach evangelism.

In 12 years, over 80,000 women have attended a TimeOut conference in many cities throughout the United States. There is no telling what the spiritual, emotional, relational, and educational impact these conferences have had on each attendee. We praise God for each life that has been changed, renewed, inspired, and encouraged. Of course, much of the success of our conferences was through the teaching and music of our founder, Julie Baker!

Julie thanks each of you for your prayers, your gifts, your volunteer hours, and your friendships and hopes most of all, that the friendships will continue now that we move beyond the annual conferences. You have been such blessings to the ministry!

After traveling to China with the Americana Music Group this October/November, and looking to return there again this December, most probably to Russia in August, and China again next October, Julie is excited about continuing evangelism as God opens doors. She is in the middle of writing two books: Five Daily Steps for Lifetime Success, and Leading from the Inside Out: Fruit of the Spirit Leadership. She is also praying about writing new music and producing a new CD, something she has not had time to do since 2004.

So, again, a new season is beginning for TimeOut Ministries, one of expanded ministry and opportunity as founder Julie Baker is able to travel more extensively and spend more time writing, speaking, and traveling.

Thank you again for your prayers and friendships; support we hope will continue as this new season for the ministry begins and continues! If you feel led to financially support these missions trips or contribute to a new musical CD project, you can do so through TimeOut Ministries 501 (c) 3 nonprofit for a gift receipt.

Thank you, and God bless!
